2027 Frequently Asked Questions
Dates, Location & The Basics
When is The BTC Show 2027?
The BTC Show 2027 runs Saturday, August 14 through Tuesday, August 17, 2027 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It is four days: registration and opening-night parties on Saturday, full days of mainstage and classes on Sunday and Monday, the #ONESHOT Global Hair Awards on Monday night, and the Social Media & Business Workshop on Tuesday. Tickets are on sale now at the early-bird price.
Where is The BTC Show 2027 held?
The BTC Show 2027 is at the Omni Fort Lauderdale Hotel & Convention Center, 1950 Eisenhower Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316, connected to the Broward County Convention Center — the same home as 2026. Parking is at the convention center, linked to the Northport Parking Garage by covered second-floor skywalks. Hotel options are on our Venue page.
How much do BTC Show 2027 tickets cost?
Early-bird pricing is live. Base is $295, Premium is $445, VIP is $545, and Super VIP is $845. Premium, VIP, and Super VIP are $50 below their 2026 price. Every tier includes mainstage access, Look & Learn classes, the Connection Center trade show floor, and the show parties; Premium and above add the Tuesday Social Media & Business Workshop and the BTC Goody Bag. Current pricing and full tier comparisons are on the Tickets page.
Are 2027 tickets on sale yet?
Yes — 2027 tickets are on sale right now at the early-bird price, and this is the cheapest they will ever be. Pick your package on the Tickets page, add your #ONESHOT Global Hair Awards seats, and check out in a couple of minutes. No membership, waitlist, or approval is required.
How do I buy tickets to The BTC Show 2027?
Buy directly on our Tickets page — pick your tier, add #ONESHOT awards tickets if you want them, name the people the seats are for, and check out. Your order lands in your account immediately: sign in at your account with the email you bought under and it is there under My Tickets.
Early-Bird Pricing & Buying Now
What is early-bird pricing and how long does it last?
Early-bird is the pre-announcement price for The BTC Show 2027 — the lowest these seats go, held until the 2027 program is announced. Premium, VIP, and Super VIP are $50 below their 2026 price. There is no code to enter; the price you see on the Tickets page is already the early-bird price.
Why should I buy now if the 2027 lineup has not been announced?
Because the price only moves one direction. The dates and the venue are locked — Saturday, August 14 through Tuesday, August 17, 2027 at the Omni Fort Lauderdale — and buying now is what secures both the early-bird price and your seating section. Classes, mainstage and the full lineup are announced closer to the show and land in your account automatically.
Class sign-ups are also first-come, first-served every year, and the most in-demand classes fill within hours of opening. Holding a ticket before that day is what puts you in line for one.
Will my ticket price change once the lineup is announced?
No. What you pay today is what you pay — your ticket and everything it includes are locked in at the early-bird price, whatever the price does later. When the 2027 program is announced, your package simply gains the class credits, mainstage seat, and perks it always included at the tier you bought.
What do I get right now when I buy a 2027 ticket?
You get a confirmed, paid seat at the early-bird price, visible any time in your account under My Tickets with your order number and everything on it. Your scannable QR ticket is issued once the 2027 program is set — until then your order in your account is your proof of purchase, and nothing else is needed from you.
Everything after that reaches you by email and in the app: the lineup announcement, class registration opening, badge pickup hours, and floor maps.
Can I buy tickets for my whole team now and name everyone later?
You can buy as many seats as you need in one order, and you can assign each one to its attendee right at checkout — full name and their own unique email address. Assigning at checkout is worth the extra minute: class seats are per attendee, and the person on the seat is the person who can save their own class spots when registration opens.
Nothing is locked in, though — tickets are transferable, so a seat can change hands later if someone drops out or you hire between now and August.
Is my 2027 ticket refundable?
BTC Show and #ONESHOT ticket purchases are final and non-refundable, with one exception below. Your seat does not have to go to waste if plans change, though — tickets are transferable, so you can hand it to a colleague or friend who can use it.
The exception is #ONESHOT nominees: if you buy a BTC Show ticket before #ONESHOT nominations and are then named a nominee, BTC refunds the cost of your ticket up to the value of a Base show ticket plus a General #ONESHOT ticket. Add your Instagram handle at checkout so we can match you — without it we cannot find you.
Ticket Packages, Tiers & Your Account
What is the difference between the ticket tiers?
Every tier includes a mainstage seat, Look & Learn classes, the Connection Center, and the show parties. Moving up gets you closer to the stage, more classes, and more perks:
- Base — general mainstage seating and 1 Look & Learn class.
- Premium — premium mainstage seating, 2 classes, the Tuesday Business Workshop, and the BTC Goody Bag.
- VIP — VIP mainstage seating, 3 classes, the workshop, the goody bag, plus VIP Lounge access and the Bar Fast Pass.
- Super VIP — the first four rows, 4 classes, and everything VIP includes.
Side-by-side pricing and the full inclusion list for each are on the Tickets page.
Is the Premium or VIP ticket worth the upgrade?
For most attendees, yes. Premium and above add the Tuesday Social Media & Business Workshop and the BTC Goody Bag (over $400 in premium products) — together worth well beyond the price step — plus an upgraded seating section, and at VIP the lounge and no-wait Bar Fast Pass. Higher tiers also include more class seats, which matters most in the year the popular classes fill fastest.
How do I find my tickets?
Your tickets live in your account, not in your email. Sign in to The BTC Show app or to your account on this site using the email address the ticket was purchased under — or the email it was assigned to, if someone bought it for you — and open My Tickets. Your 2027 order and every seat on it is there.
I signed in but my tickets are not there. Where are they?
Your tickets are not lost — you are almost certainly signed in under a different email address than the order was placed under. It is the single most common thing we hear. Work email at checkout, personal email on your phone, or a partner who booked for both of you.
Find out which address holds them in about ten seconds: open Find my tickets, enter your order number and the last name on the order, and we will show you the account they are on. Your order number is on your confirmation email.
I never got a confirmation email. Do I still have my ticket?
Yes. A missing email does not mean a missing order — the email is only a receipt, and your purchase lives in your account. Sign in to The BTC Show app or your account with the email address you bought under and your 2027 order is right there under My Tickets.
If you sign in and see nothing, you are signed in with a different email than the one used at checkout. Rather than guessing, look up which email your tickets are on — order number and last name, and we will tell you the account holding them.
I don’t have a password. How do I sign in?
You do not need a password. On the sign-in screen — in The BTC Show app or on this site — enter the email address your ticket is under and tap Continue. From there you can continue with Google or Facebook, or have a one-tap sign-in link sent to you.
Whatever you choose, sign in with the email your ticket is under — that is what connects your account to your tickets and, later, your class seats.
I bought a block of tickets for my team. Does it matter whose name is on each ticket?
It matters enormously. Each seat should carry the right attendee’s full name and their own unique email address — no two seats can share an address. That is what makes class sign-ups, add-on access, and event updates work for each person individually. Assign them at checkout if you can — and if someone on your team changes between now and August, the seat can be transferred to whoever goes instead.
Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
Yes. BTC Show tickets are transferable — if you cannot make it, or a seat you bought needs to go to a different member of your team, it moves to them with their name and their own email address, and it becomes their ticket in their account.
The fastest route is to name the right attendee at checkout. To move a seat afterward, sign in to your account and open My Tickets — while 2027 tickets are still early-bird orders, reply to your receipt email or write to events@behindthechair.com and our team will move it for you the same way.
Do it before class registration opens if you can. Class seats belong to the attendee on the ticket, so the sooner a seat is in the right name, the sooner that person can save their own classes.
Do I get to choose my exact seats?
When you pick your package you are choosing your dedicated seating section — Base (general seating), Premium, VIP, or Super VIP. Seating is first-come, first-served within your section at the show. See where each section sits on the seating chart. Every seat in the house has a clear, unobstructed view of the stage.
Can I buy a ticket for just one day of education?
Every BTC Show ticket is a full-show package covering Saturday, August 14 through Tuesday, August 17, 2027, so single-day tickets are not offered — you get the whole experience: mainstage, classes, the Connection Center floor, and the parties. See all tiers on the Tickets page.
Why Attend The BTC Show
Is The BTC Show worth it?
Yes. The BTC Show is four days of hands-on education, mainstage presentations from the biggest names in hair, 200+ classes and business workshops, and the #ONESHOT Global Hair Awards. It's designed to send you home with new techniques, fresh inspiration, and a stronger professional network — the kind of experience many hair professionals look forward to all year.
Why should I attend The BTC Show?
You attend to learn directly from the artists shaping the industry — not from a screen. Four days put you in the room for mainstage presentations, intimate Look & Learn and hands-on classes, the Tuesday Business Workshop, and a sold-out trade show floor, alongside a network of professionals who become collaborators, mentors, and friends for the rest of your career.
What do I get for the price of a BTC Show ticket?
Every ticket includes full access to four days of mainstage presentations, 200+ classes and business workshops, the Connection Center trade show floor, and the show parties. Premium and above add the Tuesday Social Media & Business Workshop and the legendary BTC Goody Bag, worth over $400 in premium products. See current tiers and pricing on the Tickets page.
Is The BTC Show worth it for newer stylists?
Especially for newer stylists. One weekend brings together hands-on technique, pricing and business strategy, and direct access to educators most professionals only follow online. You leave with new skills, fresh ideas, and a professional network — a head start that is hard to build on your own.
How can The BTC Show help my salon business and income?
The BTC Show pairs technique with business strategy. The Tuesday Social Media & Business Workshop covers pricing, branding, and booking ideas, while hands-on classes sharpen the skills behind premium services. You'll leave with practical strategies to apply in your own salon — though individual results always depend on how you put them to work.
Is The BTC Show better than online hair education?
Online education is convenient; the BTC Show is transformative. Nothing replicates standing feet from a mainstage artist, getting hands-on correction in a live class, and networking with thousands of professionals in one room. It is four days of immersion, energy, and access you simply cannot stream — the reason stylists return year after year.
Should I attend The BTC Show if I'm going alone?
Absolutely — many attendees come solo and leave with a whole new network. The show is built for connection, including Party of One, the dedicated party for solo attendees, plus classes, the trade show floor, and meetups where introducing yourself is the norm. You will not feel alone for long.
Who attends The BTC Show?
Licensed hair professionals from around the world — stylists, colorists, salon owners, educators, and students at every career stage. As one of the largest hair industry events in the world, it puts you in the room with both the artists shaping the industry and thousands of peers who do exactly what you do.
It's my first time — is The BTC Show beginner friendly?
Completely. The BTC Show welcomes professionals at every level, from students to salon owners. Look & Learn classes let you absorb technique with zero pressure, hands-on classes provide the tools, and the schedule is easy to navigate. It's a welcoming, easy-to-enjoy first experience — even if you're attending solo.
Is The BTC Show worth the travel and hotel cost?
Yes — and buying early is what makes the whole trip cheaper. Locking your ticket at the early-bird price now leaves the budget for flights and a room, both of which are at their cheapest almost a year out. Hotel options near the venue are on our Venue page, and plenty of attendees split a room with a fellow stylist they meet in the BTC community.
Can I earn continuing education (CE) hours at The BTC Show?
Yes. The BTC Show is an approved continuing education event, so your weekend of world-class education can also count toward your license renewal. CE hours are provided by Center of Attraction Hair Gallery for barbers and cosmetologists licensed in Illinois, Iowa, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, and North Dakota. You must hold a ticket and attend in person to receive credit. Eligible states and 2027 pre-registration details are on our CE Hours page.
When should I buy my BTC Show tickets?
Now. Early-bird pricing ends when the 2027 program is announced, and it is the lowest these seats get. Buying early also puts you in line for class registration, where seats are first-come, first-served and the most popular classes fill within hours. Grab your package on the Tickets page.
Classes & Education
How many classes are included with my ticket?
Your package includes class credits: Base includes 1 Look & Learn class, Premium 2, VIP 3, and Super VIP 4. Those credits are attached to the seat the moment you buy, so an early-bird ticket carries exactly the same class allowance it would at full price. Additional classes can be added closer to the show.
When does class registration open for 2027?
Class registration opens once the 2027 class lineup is announced, several weeks before the show, and it opens by tier — the higher tiers go first, as they do every year. We email every ticket holder and send an app notification the moment it goes live, so holding a ticket now is all you need to do to be in line.
Seats are first-come, first-served and the most in-demand classes fill fast, so turn on notifications in The BTC Show app and make sure every seat in your order is assigned to the right person before that day.
How do I sign up for specific classes?
When registration opens, sign in and browse Classes — a “Save a Seat” button appears on every class you are eligible for, and tapping it locks in your spot. Spots are first-come, first-served. If you want more than your package includes, you can add classes or move up a tier.
Before that day: if you bought more than one seat, make sure each one is assigned to its own attendee with their own email. Class seats are per attendee, so seats still sitting under one email cannot be signed up separately.
I bought more than one ticket. Why can’t I sign up my whole group for classes?
Each class seat is tied to an individual attendee, and only one attendee per account can be registered for a class. If every seat is still under your name and email, only one of them can save a seat. Give each seat its own attendee — full name, phone number, and a unique email address — so each person can save their own classes.
Assign seats at checkout when you buy. Already bought them under one email? Tickets are transferable — see “How do I transfer a ticket to someone else?” above, and do it well before registration opens.
The class I want is full. Can I still get in?
Yes — full does not mean closed. Attendees drop and change class selections right up until a class starts, and they do it constantly. Seats reopen every single day of registration, so a class that is full today is very often available later.
On Classes, any full class shows a “Full — Alert Me” button. Tap it and we watch that class for you; the moment someone drops, you get a notification so you can grab the open spot. Seats are first-come, first-served, so the faster you act on the alert, the better your odds.
Can I change or drop a class I already signed up for?
Yes. You can cancel a saved seat and pick a different class any time up until that class begins. Cancel the seat you no longer want and save a seat in the class you do want. Dropping a seat frees it instantly for the next attendee, so please cancel as soon as you know you cannot attend.
How do I receive CE hours for attending The BTC Show?
The BTC Show is an approved continuing education event, with CE hours provided by Center of Attraction Hair Gallery for barbers and cosmetologists licensed in Illinois, Iowa, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, and North Dakota. To earn credit: hold a ticket, pre-register for CE hours (or register on-site), and attend in person. Full details and eligible states are on our CE Hours page.
Questions about CE hours should be directed to Sharla Wooten at info@coahairgalleryceu.com, not BTC.
Do I need to bring tools to the Look & Learn classes?
Nope! Our Look & Learn classes are designed for you to sit back, absorb brilliant techniques, and take notes from iconic artists. No tools or styling kits are required.
Educators, Mainstage & The Tuesday Workshop
Who is teaching at The BTC Show 2027?
The 2027 lineup is still being finalized. As each artist is confirmed they go up on the Educators page, and every ticket holder gets an email and an app notification when the full lineup is announced. Every year the roster spans mainstage presentations, Look & Learn sessions, and hands-on classes from the biggest names in global hair.
What happens on the mainstage?
The mainstage runs Sunday and Monday of show week with full-production presentations from the artists shaping the industry. Mainstage access is included with every ticket tier — no separate sign-up needed. The 2027 mainstage lineup is announced with the rest of the program and lands on the Mainstage page.
What is the Tuesday Social Media & Business Workshop?
Mary’s Tuesday Social Media & Business Workshop runs Tuesday, August 17, 2027 from 9:30am to 3:00pm and covers 25 years of secrets on building social media, raising your prices, retaining clients, and becoming the "IT" stylist in your market. It is a $295 value, included with Premium, VIP, and Super VIP packages. Full details on the Tuesday Business page.
Buying a Base ticket? Stepping up to Premium at the early-bird price adds the workshop and the BTC Goody Bag — see the comparison on the Tickets page.
The #ONESHOT Global Hair Awards
When is the #ONESHOT Global Hair Awards in 2027?
The #ONESHOT Global Hair Awards is on Monday, August 16, 2027, during show week in Fort Lauderdale. It is the largest and most prestigious hair competition in the world, with finalists from 30+ countries. Tickets are on sale now at the early-bird price — see the #ONESHOT page.
Are #ONESHOT Awards tickets included in the BTC Show packages?
#ONESHOT is the biggest, most electrifying night in the hair industry, and because it is a separate mega-event its tickets are not included in the standard BTC Show packages. You can add General or VIP awards tickets to your order at checkout in one tap, at the same time as your show package. Add yours on the Tickets page.
Can I buy a ticket just for the #ONESHOT Global Hair Awards?
Yes. If you only want the awards ceremony and party, individual General and VIP tickets are available on their own — no show package required. Secure your seat on the #ONESHOT page.
What happens if I buy a ticket now and later become a #ONESHOT nominee?
Fingers crossed for you — and buying early costs you nothing if it happens. If you buy a BTC Show ticket in advance of #ONESHOT nominations and are then named a nominee, BTC refunds the cost of your ticket up to the value of a Base show ticket plus a General #ONESHOT ticket. Upgrade perks you paid for stay yours.
Add your Instagram handle at checkout so we can match you to your entry — without it we cannot find you. Questions about the nominee refund go to events@behindthechair.com.
I’m a #ONESHOT finalist. How do I claim my tickets?
Every #ONESHOT finalist receives one complimentary BTC Show Base ticket and one complimentary General Admission #ONESHOT Global Hair Awards ticket. Finalist codes are issued after the 2027 finalists are announced — when they are, sign in at oneshothairawards.com with the email your entry is tied to and your unique one-time code is in your account.
If you do not see it, you are most likely signed in under a different email than the one you entered with. Try the address on your entry first, then email support@behindthechair.com if you still need help.
Will my #ONESHOT seats be in the same section as my BTC Show seats?
The BTC Show and the #ONESHOT Global Hair Awards are two separate events, so seating is not identical. Your seat depends on the package and section you choose for each event individually. We recommend booking them together so your experience lines up.
Who can attend the #ONESHOT Finalist Party?
To keep this celebration intimate for our creators, the Finalist Party is strictly reserved for official #ONESHOT Finalists and sponsored artists. No plus-ones are permitted.
The Connection Center, Sponsors & Goody Bag
What is the BTC Connection Center?
The BTC Connection Center is the show floor where the industry’s top brands — including prestige brands you will discover here first — launch what’s next. Meet brand founders and top artists face-to-face, watch the show stream on a giant LED screen, and book one-on-one Salon Pro social media consults. Access is included with every ticket tier. Details on the Connection Center page.
What are the Connection Center hours?
The Connection Center is open across the two main show days, Sunday and Monday of show week, and access is included with every ticket tier. Exact 2027 opening hours are published with the full show schedule closer to the event, and land in your account and in The BTC Show app.
What is in the BTC Goody Bag and who gets one?
The BTC Goody Bag is valued at over $400 and is packed with full-size hair products, color, tools, and exclusive first looks from our sponsors. It is included with Premium, VIP, and Super VIP tickets — one more reason the step up from Base pays for itself. See what goes inside on the Goody Bag page.
Which brands will be at The BTC Show 2027?
The 2027 sponsor and exhibitor list is confirmed over the months leading up to the show. Every brand goes up on the Sponsors page as it is announced, with a page covering what they are showing and which classes they are behind.
At The Show — Badge Pickup, Maps & The App
When can I pick up my badge at The BTC Show 2027?
Registration opens on Saturday of show week — August 14, 2027 — and runs again Sunday and Monday morning at the Omni Fort Lauderdale Hotel & Convention Center. Saturday pickup is the easiest way to start: grab your badge, then head straight into opening night. Exact 2027 windows are published with the full show schedule closer to the event.
What do I need to bring to registration to get my badge and wristbands?
Bring the QR code on your ticket — that is the only thing registration needs to print your badge and issue your wristbands. Your scannable ticket is issued in your account once the 2027 program is set. Open The BTC Show app or your account, sign in with the email your ticket is under, and pull it up at the counter.
No printout is required and there is no email to find. Open your pass once while you have signal and the QR codes save to your device, so they scan even if the wifi is slow.
How do I find my classroom at The BTC Show?
Use our Floor Maps page. It has a room finder — type a class name, educator, or room number and it takes you straight to the right level and room. The 2027 maps go up once rooms are assigned, and cover every level of the convention center, including the mainstage, the #ONESHOT Global Hair Awards, and the Connection Center.
The same maps live in the BTC Show app and in your account at Floor Maps, so your next room is always one tap away while you are on the show floor.
Is there a full schedule of everything happening at The BTC Show 2027?
There will be. The Full Show Schedule puts every mainstage session, classroom, party, and open-hours window on one timeline, and the 2027 edition publishes once the program is announced. For the day-by-day shape of the four days right now, see the schedule.
Where will I be sitting for the mainstage?
Your ticket tier sets your section — Super VIP is closest to the stage, then VIP, Premium, and Base. Seating is first-come, first-served within your section. See the exact layout on the seating chart. Every seat in the room has a clear view of the stage.
Do my tickets work without wifi or cell signal?
Yes. Download the BTC Show app before you travel and open your tickets once while you have signal — your QR codes save right to your device and scan instantly at your pass, signal or not. Load your pass the night before and you are set for the whole weekend.
How do I get alerts about room changes and class openings?
Download The BTC Show app, sign in with the email address on your ticket, and allow notifications. You will get push alerts for the 2027 lineup announcement, class registration opening, seat-drop alerts on classes you are watching, room changes, and show announcements. Everything we send is also in Notifications in your account.
I lost something at The BTC Show. How do I get it back?
We will help you track it down. During show week, sign in and submit a quick report at Lost & Found with a description of the item and where you last had it — it goes straight to the BTC team onsite. You can do the same right inside The BTC Show app, or stop by Registration and the BTC Merch Booth in the Connection Center in person.
How do I get help with my ticket or account?
Start in The BTC Show app or your account — your order, your seats, your transfers, and later your class registrations all live there. For anything about a 2027 order that you cannot do yourself, reply to your receipt email or write to events@behindthechair.com and our team will sort it out.
If the app or site itself is broken — a page that will not load, a button that does nothing — use Report an App Issue in your account and it goes straight to the team that can fix it.
Where can I find photos from The BTC Show?
Show photos go up on the BehindtheChair.com Facebook page in batches over the week following each show, so there is always more to find. Sign in and open Show Photos & Social for direct links to the albums and every BTC account to follow. Posting your own? Tag us and we will repost you!
Parties, Nightlife & Bar Access
What parties are included with my ticket?
Every BTC Show ticket includes the show parties: the Party of "One" solo-attendee mixer on Saturday, the Sunday night theme party, and the Saturday pool party for guests staying at the Omni. The #ONESHOT Global Hair Awards on Monday night is a separate ticketed event. See them all on the Parties page.
What is the theme for the 2027 Sunday Night Theme Party?
The 2027 theme has not been revealed yet — it is announced with the rest of the program, and every ticket holder finds out first by email and in The BTC Show app. Sunday night is always the big one: all ticket holders are welcome, the music gets louder, and the room belongs to people who make ordinary places more interesting. Watch our Parties page for the reveal.
How does the Bar Fast Pass work? Can I skip the lines?
We want you spending your time networking and celebrating, not waiting for a drink. VIP and Super VIP packages include the Bar Fast Pass and VIP Lounge access — a wristband good at dedicated, no-wait Fast Pass bars separate from the main crowd, with no extra add-on needed.
A standalone Bar Fast Pass for other ticket holders goes on sale closer to the show. All bars require guests to be 21+ with a valid ID.
Can I attend the pool party?
Due to strict capacity limits, pool party access is reserved for guests who are staying at the Omni Hotel AND hold a BTC Show ticket. You must meet both requirements to get on the guest list, and if your hotel reservation is canceled, pool party access is forfeited.
Host Hotel & Logistics
Where should I stay for The BTC Show 2027?
The Omni Fort Lauderdale is the host hotel and the venue itself, so staying there puts you steps from the mainstage — and it is the only way onto the pool party guest list. Nearby hotels at discounted rates, bookable today through our partner HotelMap, are on our Venue page.
The 2027 Omni room block is not open yet, and rooms in it are reserved for confirmed BTC Show ticket holders — you must hold a ticket to book one. The moment the block goes live we email every ticket holder the private booking link and the nightly rate, so buying your ticket now is what puts you in that email.
Book early either way. The host hotel sells out every year, and rooms near the Broward County Convention Center go fast during show week.
Is the Omni Fort Lauderdale room block open for 2027?
Not yet. The 2027 room block at the Omni has not opened, and when it does, rooms are reserved for confirmed BTC Show ticket holders — a ticket is required to book one, limit one room per ticket confirmation.
Every ticket holder gets emailed the private booking link and the nightly rate the day it opens, so there is nothing to watch for and nothing to sign up for beyond holding a ticket. Discounted rooms at nearby hotels are bookable right now on our Venue page.
How can I find a roommate to split hotel costs?
Plenty of attendees share a room with a stylist they meet beforehand. Connect with the BTC community on our official Facebook page to find the right match — it is one of the easiest ways to cut the cost of the trip roughly in half.
Will food and meals be provided?
To keep ticket prices as low as possible so as many stylists as possible can attend, meals are not included with your show ticket. You will not go hungry, though — the convention center and the host hotel have an array of dining options, quick-service cafes, and top-tier restaurants to keep you fueled all weekend.
International Attendees & Visas
I am traveling internationally. Can you help me with a travel visa?
We cannot wait to welcome our global community. We provide official PDF invitation letters to support your visa application — one for BTC Show attendees and one for #ONESHOT attendees:
Apply early — visa appointments can take months. If you need a letter naming you personally or referencing your 2027 order, email events@behindthechair.com.

Yes, all attendees must be 18 or older and hold a valid ticket. Please note that because this is a professional industry event, it may include adult language and alcohol service.
